About Signature Finish Carpentry
Good finish work starts long before the last nail.
I'm Jordan Ingebrigtsen, owner of Signature Finish Carpentry. For more than 15 years, I've helped builders, remodelers, and homeowners turn detailed plans into finished spaces that feel right.
A trade learned up close
Carpentry was never just a job I picked up.
I grew up around carpentry as part of the third generation in my family to work in the trade. The lessons that stayed with me were practical: measure carefully, think ahead, communicate clearly, and leave the project better than you found it.
That approach still guides every job. Finish carpentry is the part people see and touch every day, but getting it right depends on what happens before installation—understanding the plans, catching conflicts, asking the right questions, and coordinating the work with everyone else on site.
The goal is not to make the work more complicated. It is to solve details early, protect the schedule where possible, and deliver a finished result that reflects well on everyone involved.
How I approach the work
Make the next person's job easier.
Good working relationships are built on predictable basics: preparation, communication, respect for the jobsite, and a clean closeout.
- 01
Work through the details
Review plans, site conditions, transitions, and material questions before they become installation problems.
- 02
Communicate early
If something affects scope, sequence, or schedule, bring it up while there is still time to make a good decision.
- 03
Finish responsibly
Respect the home and jobsite, keep the work organized, and close out the details instead of leaving loose ends.
“My goal is straightforward: notice the details, solve problems without making them someone else's headache, and leave the finished space looking right.”— Jordan
